Emily’s strategy for exploration is though play. Through play we can experiment, take risks, extend ideas and mold new beginnings. Emily believes as we were born with the capacity for play and creative communication, we all have the capacity to tell our own stories of the past and to create the communities of our future.

Emily has worked as a freelance drama facilitator for the past three years, both in youth theatre and educational contexts. She has worked with companies such as Starcatchers, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Short Courses, Urban Roots, The American School In Switzerland  and Platform‘s Youth Theatre program. She works with a wide variety of ages but has recently focused her research into early years arts. Emily is part of the Patter Scotland peer to peer artist network.
